Most small businesses and non-profit organizations don’t have internal website technical support. We provide technical support for WordPress and Joomla websites. Our technical services include:

Many of our clients update their website content and social media without assistance. But sometimes reality gets in the way and clients ask Chinook Multimedia for help.

  • Website updates keep being put off to another day, and then another day…
  • The staff member responsible for the updates has left. Someone new has to be trained. But what if the new person isn’t as good or also leaves?

Our clients come first. We respond quickly to client support requests. Our support services are designed to provide what the client needs when the client needs it. About Our Monthly Support Subscription Plan

How it works

When a client has a monthly subscription:

  • the client submits a task for completion, such as new content (e.g. new blog or news item, updated text on a page, new hires…) or a new feature or programming task (e.g. add a gallery, change a contact form, add a call to action…)
  • we review and ask questions if needed
  • we do the work (typically, we complete content changes and most small programming changes the same day or within 24 hours)
  • we update the client as soon as the work is done and ask the client to confirm that everything is correct
  • at the end of the month, we send the client a detailed record of the time worked for each task.

We provide as much flexibility as we can within our monthly subscriptions. Within reason, clients may use more hours than provided in the subscription one month and fewer hours another month. We average out the hours every 6 months. If a client is consistently using more hours, we will recommend an upgraded subscription or the client can pay for the overages. And if the client isn’t using the hours, we will recommend a downgraded subscription. We trust our clients, and they trust us.

Monthly Support Charges

Monthly subscriptions are charged at the same rate ($100/hour) regardless of the number of hours.

  • We consult with the client to establish the number of hours of required support. So a subscription could be 2 hours, 10 hours, 25 hours, etc.
  • Monthly subscriptions are payable the first day each month commencing from when the subscription begins.
  • Clients agree to subscribe for a minimum of 6 months and the subscription automatically renews.

Clients have the advantage of a sharply reduced hourly rate, and we have the advantage of a consistent revenue stream and more efficient planning of staff time.

  2. Network uptime of more than 99%
  3. Diskspace (generous storage for your needs)

  5. Security (strong measures preventing malware and hacking and cost of cleanup in the event of a problem)
  6. Redundancy (backup copies of your website in case of emergencies)
